Chooco-Banane Latte

No sugar needed,  just like our non-toxic Choco-Banane! We turned it into a banana bread latte with caramelized banana, a little cinnamon, and that espresso shot on top… we’re obsessed! 


Ingredients

For the banana syrup

* 1 banana
* 1/2 cup maple syrup
* 1/2 cup water
* a pinch of cinnamon
* a splash of vanilla extract

For the drink

* ice cubes
* milk of choice
* 1 espresso shot
* optional: dalgona coffee cream for the coffee lovers ☁️

Method

1. Add the banana to a pan and cook on both sides until soft and lightly golden.
2. Pour in the maple syrup and water, then add the cinnamon.
3. Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
4. Stir in the vanilla extract.
5. Strain the mixture through a fine sieve and let it cool. Store the syrup in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

To assemble

1. Add as much banana syrup as you like to a glass.
2. Fill with ice and pour in your milk of choice.
3. Add the espresso shot.
4. Top with dalgona coffee cream if using.
5. Sip and enjoy
